About The Novello Theatre

Once called the Waldorf theatre and before that The Strand theatre, the Novello was built as a pair together with the Aldwych Theatre, each straddling the famous Waldorf Hotel. Designed by the prolific theatre architect W.G.R Sprague, the Novello seats just over 1000 people split over four levels: the stalls, dress circle, grand circle and upper circle.

Exzellent
It was out second show at Westend and the First Time in „Mama Mia“! The Story is well known. As well as the music. But in the Westend Version everything became a special touch - the music as well as the actors, the costumes, the visitors together became one great story. Thanks for that wonderful outstanding evening.

Fab night with Emily
We booked last minute Emily’s favourite musical and film it did not disappoint. We had fabulous seats the music, acting , singing and dancing were just amazing. It was funny and great fun. The theatre was beautiful we had a wonderful night.
