About The Novello Theatre

Once called the Waldorf theatre and before that The Strand theatre, the Novello was built as a pair together with the Aldwych Theatre, each straddling the famous Waldorf Hotel. Designed by the prolific theatre architect W.G.R Sprague, the Novello seats just over 1000 people split over four levels: the stalls, dress circle, grand circle and upper circle.

Fabulous feel good show for everyone
The show was just fabulous from start to finish, seats were really good and the theatre was beautiful. The staff were all lovely. 5 of us came over from Kildare in Ireland for the day to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday and we all had an amazing time.
